Shop for a Christmas Wish

Over 80 individuals have shared their “Christmas Wish” with us, with many items as simple as a warm hoodie, new boots, or a mystery book. Additionally, items purchased from the wish list will stock the Hands of Hope distribution center’s Holiday gift Shop, where residents can "shop" for (free) meaningful gifts for their loved ones. We’ll have a gift wrapping station on site to keep the secret until the big day arrives. By choosing an item from this list, we can make the holidays brighter for the resilient families of Old Beech Mountain. Join us in spreading hope, one gift at a time.

Help us purchase gift cards from beloved local restaurants and businesses, giving families a well-deserved night out to relax and celebrate. It’s a small but powerful way to spread hope and support both families in need and the businesses that make our mountain towns so special. In fact, each of these businesses were chosen due to their own need for support and income at this time, as well as to honor the incredible way they have been giving back to the community since the storm. CRITICAL SUPPLY NEEDS

Small donations (1 car load or less) can be dropped off during Distribution Center Hours: Tuesdays/Thursdays 9am-2pm, or Saturdays 10am-4pm.
Donations larger than 1 car load need to be coordinated in advance. Please contact erin@handsofhopeinc.org to schedule a drop off time.
